Dear Patients:

This new virus, COVID -19, poses a health threat unlike any other that Canada has experienced in the last century.

As a doctor, your health remains my primary concern. However, I have had to alter how I provide care in some circumstances to try to limit the potential spread of this virus as much as possible.

For those of you with emergent or urgent issues, you will be seen.

For concerns of a less immediate nature, my staff will do their utmost to accommodate you as efficiently as possible while also trying to protect you against the unintentional spread of this virus.

In some cases, telephone follow-up will be possible. In other circumstances, face to face visits will be arranged but may need to be delayed until this threat is contained, depending on the urgency of your circumstances.

I understand that this may be inconvenient, but I am doing this to ensure your long-term health. This virus threat will pass. My commitment remains to provide you with the best care I can to protect your heath.
